With Vektor’s remote diagnosis module installed, vehicle problem codes are constantly monitored from the CANBUS system. Then if any of the 80 predefined malfunction alerts are triggered – ranging from ABS failure to low oil level – the system automatically alerts the fleet manager as well as the vehicle service center. Early problem diagnosis minimizes vehicle downtime and repair costs while increasing vehicle and driver safety.
Driver Profiling
Vektor’s remote diagnosis module analyzes driving patterns by combining vehicle status data coming from the CANBUS and a 3-axis accelerometer measuring acceleration and deceleration in all three axes. This data is then analyzed at Vektor’s central servers, a profile is created and the driver graded for safety and economy. Monitoring and coaching drivers to drive in a safe and economical manner decreases your fuel, maintenance and insurance premium costs.
