Vehicle Tracking
Achieve total fleet transparency by seeing the location of your vehicles on street-level digital maps. You can view addresses displayed as text along with supporting data such as ignition status, speed and direction of the vehicles.
Cargo Tracking
Let your customers track their cargo transported by your vehicles. When cargo is loaded to the vehicle, this service sends a notification email to your customers with a link which, each time it’s clicked, displays the last known location of their cargo down to street level detail. And with no complicated login procedures, your customers will appreciate the ease of use.
Geo Fencing
You can create circular or polygonal zones on a map and assign restrictions to vehicle travel (for example, if Vehicle X travels outside of Zone 2, fleet manager is alerted.) Conversely you can create rules to be alerted when certain vehicles enter a pre-defined zone.
POI Management
With this mapping system you can mark important locations like your customers, depots and offices, then each time a vehicle arrives to a chosen point Vektor records it. You can then use these records to generate customized reports (for example, to monitor client visits, vehicle departures from and arrivals to parking areas.)
Remote Control
All of Vektor’s vehicle telematics units have optional output controls which can be used to remotely control selected vehicle systems. Some examples are locking and unlocking cargo doors, disabling engines (in case of theft), and activating cargo bay coolers.
Exception Monitoring
Vektor’s advanced rule engine gives fleet managers the power to pre-program all exception events about which they wish to be alerted. This way only unwanted actions are singled out, eliminating need for a designated operator to continuously monitor activities. The system will notify users through their preferred channel (SMS alert, email, back office application). For example, the sales manager receives an email if a sales person fails to make a scheduled visit, or the fleet manager is notified by SMS the moment a vehicle is involved in an accident.
Reports
Pure data is nothing if it is not properly processed, presented and interpreted. Vektor uses state-of-the-art data warehousing and reporting tools to make the most of the data collected from vehicles. In addition to all standard reports, clients can design and implement their own customized reports. Some of the standard reports are:
- Mileage report
- Vehicle usage report including idling times
- POI arrival/departure report
- Fuel consumption report
