Accident Response
If one of your vehicles gets involved in an accident, Vektor’s monitoring center will be alerted. Depending on the accident’s severity and the driver’s response, an ambulance, police and tow truck may be dispatched.
Stolen Vehicle Recovery (SVR)
If your vehicle gets stolen, Vektor’s monitoring center will switch the tracking device to SVR mode which reports the vehicle’s position every minute to the emergency center operator. This information is then relayed to police through a prioritized line which provides the shortest response time, resulting in vehicle recovery rates in excess of 99%.
Distress Button
Theft-prone cargo or vehicles as well as drivers can be further protected against danger with the addition of a hidden distress button in the vehicle. In case of an emergency the driver can alert either the fleet manager or monitoring center personnel with the push of a button.
